The decision has been made: Hungary will host the 68th International Mathematical Olympiad in 2027. The IMO Board decided that the 2026 competition will take place in China, while Hungary has been selected to host the IMO in 2027.

This means that the International Mathematical Olympiad will return to Hungary for the fourth time. After Veszprém in 1961, Keszthely in 1970 and Budapest in 1982, Hungary will once again welcome the world’s leading young mathematicians.
